What personal information do we collect?
For licensed users, Eyes for Work Ltd collect and process the following Personally Identifiable Information (PII): your name and email address. Eyes for Work Ltd collect and process other information which is Non-Personally Identifiable Information (NPII) such as details of any digital eye strain symptoms and your workstation set-up.
To enable communication with corporate clients, the following Personally Identifiable Information for the corporate administrator will be required:
- Contact details including name, work address, email address and telephone number
- Other data as required for the purpose of maintaining the account.
How we use your Personal Information
Your personal data is used to inform the content of your Digital Vision Report. Your PII will be used only to enable access to the service and your name is included in your personalised Digital Vision Report.
Your NPII is not considered personal data in law and therefore it may be used in aggregated statistics, e.g. for your employer to track the overall digital eye health of the company. Anonymised aggregated data may also be used for our quality assurance and audit to improve customer service.
Eyes for Work Ltd personal data use will always have a lawful basis. Specifically, we use your data to deliver and maintain our service, and ensure the security of our information systems.
How does Eyes for Work Ltd store your personal data?
Eyes for Work Ltd stores data in a secure cloud database managed by AWS in a data centre located in London. The web application is encrypted and conforms to security best practices.
Our data retention policies and procedures are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal information. Personally Identifiable Information shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purpose intended.
We keep data on users during the period their licence is valid. In the event of a licence expiring, data will be kept for one month after the end of the licence period.
In the case of unforeseen circumstances, data may be kept for longer and we will inform you in writing if this is the case.
Who do we share your personal information with?
Your personal information will not be shared without your consent, unless we are obliged to do so by law.
In relation to a merger or acquisition involving Eyes for Work Ltd, personal data may be transferred to and used by the combined or resulting company.

How do I opt out of the Eyes for Work Ltd service?
Either party (the client or Eyes for Work Ltd) can choose to terminate the agreement at any time. Any such request will need to be made in writing and will be acknowledged by Eyes for Work Ltd in writing.
We reserve the right to update the Privacy Policy documentation at any time to keep it in alignment with GDPR regulations and development of the service.
